Our Brooklyn studio features a private lounge where parents can rest or toddlers can play. Moms enjoy pampering with hair and makeup, while parents are treated to warm or cold refreshments and light bites throughout the session. Whether you envision minimalist baby-focused portraits or full family images—including siblings and even your furry family members—our sessions are flexible, warm, and always baby-led. When should I schedule a newborn session?
Newborn sessions are best scheduled when your baby is between 6 and 12 days old for those adorable, sleepy, curled-up poses. We recommend booking at least 3 months in advance to secure your session, as our calendar fills quickly.
How is a newborn session styled?
You’ll choose 2-3 colors to set the tone for your session, and we’ll style everything from wraps to props based on your selection and the studio’s signature aesthetic. Soft, neutral tones like creams, whites, and black & white shots are always included unless you request otherwise.
Is there a limit to how many setups I can have during a newborn session?
No limits! We’ll cover as many setups as time allows, typically 4-15 different looks, including outfit and wrap changes.
Do I need to bring anything to the session?
We have everything needed for a successful session, from backdrops and props to baby wipes and diapers. We do suggest bringing 1-2 heirloom items to personalize your photos and add a special touch.
What are "Macro Shots"?
Macro shots are close-up images that capture the intricate details of your newborn—tiny toes, delicate lashes, and more. These intimate portraits highlight the beautiful uniqueness of your little one. Every newborn session includes macro shots.
My baby is older than 4 weeks. Can I still book a session?
Absolutely! While certain poses are easier with younger newborns, we welcome babies of all ages. We’ll tailor the session to your baby’s current milestone and create beautiful portraits, no matter their age.
How long is a newborn session?
Newborn sessions last 4-6 hours, allowing plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and cuddles. We work at your baby’s pace to ensure they are comfortable, relaxed, and content throughout the session. Following the session, we’ll meet for your in-person ordering appointment.

Yes, absolutely. We always welcome parents, siblings, grandparents- even pets to be part of the session. These connections are precious and meaningful, and we’ll gently guide you through the posing for natural, heartfelt family images.
