SITTER Sessions

Frequently Asked Questions

The ideal time for a sitter session is when your baby can sit up confidently without any support but isn’t yet crawling. This milestone usually happens between 6–9 months, depending on your baby’s development.

If your baby is already crawling, that’s no problem! I’ll adjust the session to fit their energy and capture their movement and curiosity. We can use props or creative setups to keep them engaged and ensure you still receive stunning images of this milestone.

Your baby is ready for a sitter session when they show early sitting skills, such as propping themselves up in a “tripod” position using their hands for support. As they progress, they’ll start sitting more steadily with less wobbling. Other signs include showing interest in their surroundings, smiling frequently, and engaging with toys or people, all of which make for beautiful and expressive photos.

Yes, the best time for a sitter session is when your baby is well-rested and happy—typically mid-morning or early afternoon after their first nap. This ensures we capture them at their most cheerful and relaxed.

Don’t worry! I have a variety of safe and beautiful props, like cushions and baskets, to help support your baby if they’re not sitting up fully on their own. These setups still allow us to highlight their adorable expressions and charm.
